Let me start with a congratulations to my girls for a job well done with the plane ride home!! If you are a facebooker, you already know I have given them praise on there as well. Just a little proud, that's all:) This is what they looked like after literally two minutes of getting into the car for the ride back home.
Now the plane ride there, well that's a whole other story! I will spare you the details. Let's just say I was TERRIFIED to fly back, especially without the help of Casey.
As for our time in Texas, things couldn't have gone more perfect. We had a total of 11 days there, so we filled our time with lots of fun outings, pool time, going to see
Cars 2, favorite restaurants, and visits with family and friends. One of our stops was to the Houston Museum for Children. Anyone living in Houston must go....pronto. This place is amazing. More geared for the older kids, but they do have a tots section that people can play in for easily half of the day. One of the best parts of this kid wonderland is how much pride they take in keeping it clean. LOVED that!!!! Particularly in the tots section. One example....if your kid/s happens to put a toy in their mouth you must immediately place the item in the "dirty" bags hanging on the walls throughout the section. And you have to do it, otherwise you will be very embarrassed. Trust me, I know their were moms watching me when Ava would place things in her mouth to see whether or not I would follow through with the rules. Don't blame 'em....I was doing the same thing:)

Cali was dying not being able to play with the little figurines that were in each cubby. Here favorite thing to do is play with all sorts of little figurines.
Ava stayed in these ball pins half the time we were there. She loooooves balls! So different than Cali.
Ummmm....how hilarious is this!
Noble was trying to rock out to the music....they were all lullaby songs. Haha!
We are getting closer!!!
The crown on her head was there to stay. She would check it every once in awhile to make sure she still had it on:)
Pool time was a main activity on this trip. My parents have a pool in their backyard, which makes it super easy. No need to worry about putting on swim cover-ups or even swimsuits for that matter, and definitely no need to pack up a pool bag. Wish it was that easy every time! Although these pictures were from our trip to my sister Brittany's pool. Which was amazing!!! Thanks Brit!
On our second Sunday there, we were pressed for time and it was looking like we wouldn't make it to church on time. When I opened Cali's bedroom door she confirmed we would without question be late, really late! While waiting for me to come in and bring her to breakfast, she happen to discover a red marker. Uh oh is right! She had drawn the most beautiful scribbles all over my mom's white painted window seat and drew ALL over her body and face. Even made some highlights for her hair:) I knew something wasn't quite right with how quiet she was being in her room....lesson learned.
She is giving a face that would indicate I am not being the nicest mother, but the look is deceiving. Don't worry, I was being calm and loving:)
Thanks mom, dad, uncle Riley, aunts Syds, aunt Britt, and uncle Marcin for making our trip a blast. Can't wait to come back again soon!! Love y'all!
Here are some other random pics....
She did this on her own might I add. In fact she always does this when we go to TX. Why????????
Last but not least...Cali singing Happy Birthday to Uncle Nate:)
